About the event

For the first time in Australia, the creator and author of Jack the Super Prawn, Mr Antoine Jaja, has co-created a new concept that encourages students to be engaged and empowered to find a pollution solution through fun learning while working together productively in harmony.  This concept is entitled, Jack the Super Prawn ‘Pollution Solution Students Conference Day.’

In late 2023, this creative and unique design was presented to the Assistant Principal, Mr Anthony Matthews, of St John XXIII Catholic College, Stanhope Gardens, Sydney, NSW, Australia.  Mr Anthony Matthews, a passionate educator who firmly believes in learning which connects and encourages students to be the very best person they can be for self and others, inspired his school to become the first Catholic School in Australia to collaborate.

The co-evolution of this conference is exciting.  Students will be challenged to work towards a solution for the current pollution and environmental challenges in their local context.  The students will be immersed in to a design thinking challenge led by educators and partners with expertise in the field to create a pollution solution.…
